I feel blessed, for spending my Christmas with my dearest girl friend. We went to a newly opened cafe in Alor Setar, Kedah. The cafe is not too big, but enough to have a bash, or a cosy gathering there. =)

The variety of cakes is just fine, but at least they have my favourite mille crepe there. We ordered a Rainbow Mille Crepe and a Chocolate Indulgence. Taste of the cakes are moderate, and Chocolate Indulgence slightly sweeter than enough. And of course, some light snacks for girls talk=D Fried Calamari Rings. Here comes my favourite seafood =DD

I've missed my besties for long enough! We had a really nice talk there, and meanwhile, Dorene met up with us too along with a friend from Malacca, Jonathan. Welcome to Kedah! =DD There is a HUGE Teddy Bear there for the customers to take nice photos. That bum bum is really heavy! Gotta waste some effort to catch it straight up to take photo with it.

Malam Kebudayaan 1Malaysia (MK1M) 2014 presented by Tiong Hua Club of UKM Kolej Pendeta Za'ba (KPZ) was held on 9th of December at DAM, UKM. This event was to promote the uniqueness and variety of multi-racial culture of Malaysia. The members of Tiong Hua Club prepared and practiced a lot to make the event a successful one. Need not to mention how many sleepless night everyone went through to make the performance better, even the seniors whom already graduated came back to assist and help us in making the preparation.

The specialities of MK1M 2014 included of the food booths,which were set up outside DAM. The food booths invited were selling a variety of food. Seems delicioussss, but the crew of the event were disallowed to buy food from the booths. There goes my food paradise T_T

About one hour before the event started, the protocol members were lining outside the hall to await the arrival of VIP, which is the owner of NJ Zenith Restaurant, YBhg. Datin Haslinda Sim Abdullah and the Pengetua KPZ, YBhg. Prof. Madya Dr.Ahmad Sunawari Long.

Opening ceremony which was done by applying the roof on the house model, the ceremony of lighting the house of unity.

The performances of that night were the traditional dances from different races, fashion show of traditional costumes from different races and lastly, the stage drama presented by the junior members of the Tiong Hua Club from UKM KPZ.

The dance crew which was invited by us to perform Kpop culture, which is popularly spreaded throughtout the nation=)

The winners from the photo contest of MK1M also received their prizes, followed by the lucky draw session.

Artist of the night who was invited is Hanz, a talented song composer from Malaysia, who has a plan to launch his new album soon. Two songs which was performed by him is 'Love You Like A Love Song' slow version by Selena Gomez and 'Forever Love' by LeeHom.

The last performance was the stage performance. Comedy stage drama presented by the junior members of Tiong Hua Club of KPZ. The story was nice and funny, which is about a superhero who escaped to a village to seek for inner peace, however some murder cases happened there and he realised the village was actually crowded with a lot more famous superhero other than him. Special thanks to the actors of the drama, whom spent many nights practising the drama and dedicated a lot in having this great performance.

The event ended up with the famous motivation song 'Gemuruh'. Everyone was enjoying the event and although we spent many time to prepare and practice the performances, and all the members had to run around to find sponsorship for the event. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and definitely looking forward for the comeback of this event in 2015! Stay tuned ya! =D
